VMware ESXi:

VMFS volumes aren't auto-mounting, you can see the drive in the storage device
list, but esxcli refuses to mount them. Also, you may see "has an unknown naa
value" in the boot/dmesg log.

This happens because VMware thinks the volumes are copies from another host or
don't belong to it. You can tell it to "mount anyway" with:

esxcfg-volume -l
esxcfg-volume -M <UUID>
